all matter disappears

work out what that energy was –
a heaving condensing
sound became quiet
or poised
the earth became alert
it was the conscious
ripening
the awareness of the awake
and the allowing
allowing jolt of
release

register on those Richter scales?
when a new energy – so strong –
is set upon earth
